This live-action movie is based on a comic book, written by the master artist Tsuyasu, I felt that it was carefully made without destroying the image of the original work.
Yumi Kazama is a mother living alone with her college student son. While sympathizing with her son’s friend, who is a poor student from a different background than her son, they become unlikely friends. The son is curious about her, so he confides his worries while having sex with his female friend and the married woman of his part-time, Yamane. The story is solid because of the collaboration with the comics.
Yumi Kazama, the queen of the mature women’s world, passionately performs the rich immoral world of the original work. She played the role of the mother, was perfectly cast, as if she came out of the comic and into reality.
I don’t think anyone could have done a better job than Ms. Kazama. I felt Madonna’s enthusiasm in this work.
